We have six shops across Scotland and North East England, and we sell top-brand electric bikes, road bikes, mountain bikes, folding bikes, parts, accessories and clothing for men, women and kids. You can rest assured that every single one of our bikes is assembled by an expert mechanic who performs a detailed and thorough check before it's passed to you. If we post a bike out to you, all you have to do is straighten the handlebars and put on the pedals, which is incredibly straight-forward - we even send you the tools you need and set of instructions. For general enquiries, you can Email Us or call us on Tel: 0345 257 0808. In the meantime, below you'll find some links to the various sections we supply items for.

I recently bought my first higher-end bike, and the help I received from the team here was phenomenal. They helped me try multiple sizes, gave some excellent advise on maintenance and even helped in measuring up an existing bike of mine to match the fit.
I had an issue with a loose rear wheel a few months into ownership. I took it into the store and again the team were superb, and carried out the complementary 6-week service since I had forgotten to redeem it (it had been a few months by this stage), and stripped and rebuilt the rear hub. The bike now rides like a dream. 10/10, I'll be sure to come back next time I need some work done. Particular shout out to James and Sam who provided the help!

We bought a liv gravel bike from here. Lots of help, patience, advice and no pressure service. My wife was newish to cycling so her questions were answered in a clear, easy to understand way. When I asked some slightly more technical questions, clear they really knew their stuff. Highly recommended.

I've purchased 3 Giant / Liv bikes in three years, all from different stores. I've dealt with Giant Stirling and Pedal Power in West Calder previously, and have had fantastic, faultless experiences with them. I wish I had gone to them in September 2024 as I have had such a negative experience with the Edinburgh Giant Store.
I had been considering buying a gravel bike, and had a good idea which model I wanted (Liv Devote Advanced 2). Edinburgh Giant was listed as having the correct frame size for me (Medium), so on 5th September I travelled to visit the store. When I was in the store I spoke to Simon, sat on a slightly different version of this model, which was enough to confirm the correct frame size. I wanted to check my finances to decide how best to pay for the bike and said that I would likely call the store the following day. Simon said that would be fine, and that if I did phone then I would be able to have the bike the following week (12th September). When I phoned the following day I spoke to another member of staff, paid the required deposit (20%), and was then told it would be 19th September before I would get the bike. I was naturally disappointed, but didn't take issue with it.
When I went to collect the bike on 19th September, a member of staff brought the bike through and took the balance of the remaining amount from me. He was not terribly clear in his communication, but said words along the lines that I would get an email saying that I would get two free services, but this is not the case so I could choose to either have a six week check or a service at 4, 5, 6 months or whatever..... it was around this point when my partner noticed damage on the bike - on the paintwork just above the Liv logo. Simon came over and attempted to "fix" it but had to admit that he couldn't. He offered to either take some money off, or get a replacement. I said I would rather start from a point of perfection. Simon said he would throw in some extras to make up for the inconvenience and extra travel (not to mention the days I had to take off work to collect the bike) etc. He also made a rather lame excuse about the damage not being spotted as it was on the non-drive side......my belief is that a PDI should be for the entire bike, not just one side. Incredibly disappointed, I left the shop. I phoned the store a few days later and spoke to yet another different person who didn't seem to have much of a clue, and he told me that my replacement bike would take a couple of weeks. I was pleasantly surprised when it came in earlier than that, and I was able to pick it up on 25th September. When I collected the bike I was served by another person who didn't seem to know the saga of the damaged frame etc, Simon was speaking to a customer and my time on the parking meter was running out (parking is challenging to say the least around the store), so I left the store, and instead replied to Simon's "welcome" email, which states "If you have any questions regarding your new bike, please don't hesitate to reply to this email.". I replied to that email twice - on 30th September and 2nd November to enquire about the "extras" that were promised for the hassle caused, and still no reply.
The communication in this store is absolutely atrocious. Nobody seems to know what is going on, and you get different stories each time you speak to a different member of staff.
Needless to say I have absolutely no intention of ever returning.

Highly recommended shop! Every experience I've had in here has been overwhelmingly positive, the staff in particular are so friendly and helpful. I do most of my maintenance myself, but when I need something specific that I don't have the tools / experience for, the shop has always been able to help out really promptly which I really appreciate. 10/10 - will be back soon. Thanks!

Fantastic service from professionals who know their craft. John the store manager went out his way to help me with repairs to my bike. During the work it was clear there were other things he identified from a safety perspective that left me feeling bet restored when leaving the doo that my bike was in great working order. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Great local experts. Couldn’t recommend more highly.
